We are looking for a smaller jersey cow for homesteading. Below I am listing the ideal characteristics--realizing that most will not meet *all* of them.
- ideally 42"-46"
- easy milker 2+ gal per day when in milk
- teats at least 2 1/2"
- good udder attachment
- naturally polled
- a1/a2 or a2/a2
- chondro free
- free/vaccinated against Brucellosis
-free from Johne's
-coloring light
-at least one prior healthy, easy birth
We will consider an older cow that only has a few good breeding years left, or possibly a heifer.
Please feel free to email me if you have any cows matching this or know of any. We would consider a small standard jersey as well.
